My favourite new release this week comes from 15-year-old Billie Eilish who is killing it in the pop scene at the moment. Following up from hits such as ‘Bellyache’, ‘Ocean Eyes’ and 13 reasons why soundtrack ‘Bored’, her new single ‘Watch’ follows the same pattern of her poetic voice, somewhat vengeful lyrics and music maturation beyond her years. The track “about letting go of someone toxic and moving on”, draws inspiration from the idea of setting fire to her ex’s car.
